I bought this nice hard stone cameo (1.25"/1") though not fond of the plain gold mount.
But it was not expensive (around $130).
Had it a while in a drawer, and when I got the ivory chain... Idea!!!
Just carefully blackened with permanent marker the plain gold part, add an openable black modern bale and there is the whole thing!
Nothing harmful for it!
Don't you think the black border add to it's beauty?
