Your doll is from the 70's-80s and were heavily mass produced . She became Walda as she had no name so was given one
Here is a good video to watch on her ,

Thank you so very much! That's hilarious. I was probably 10-11 when I got this then. Thanks again. Guess I'll clean her up & giver her to the grandprincesses.
Your welcome . I thought you might like the video and I do appreciate Thanking me so often no one does after I ID their dolls and a Thank you lets me know you read my post so I also Thank you ! :-)
Well I was raised that those two words were always appreciated!! So you're certainly welcome. Now see what you can do about the other one I posted - LOL Please ;-)
If I were going to clean her up - what would be my best option? Soap & water?
Just a damp cloth should do it to face hands and feet not body avoid rubbing on painted area's of face it could come off ! . These dolls are not sealed good like Antique dolls and it could seep into porcelain . You can put her hair over sink the ends only and put some cream rinse on ends up a few inch's and use a wide tooth comb to tame her hair also . The dress will probably run the colors so steam it off her with just steam from iron to freshen it :-)
Thanks - again!
Thank you Lizz AND Manikin for such a great post and contribution!
