    We don't know too much about this old ginger jar except that its been in the family for a long time. Grandma purchased it back in the 1920's, most likely in New Orleans. It stands almost 36 inches high. We can't read the markings on the bottom. Any help would be appreciated.

      It's porcelain, it's Japanese moriage, probably Satsuma....maybe...nah...no idea!!!

      I have absolutely no understanding here, so there can be no meaningful words to say about it. Just that I find it very beautiful.

      make perfect a rather well kyoto , most of kyoto,s are full of samurais, this is at least taisho or better j,p morgan got even better pieces , well done congrats maybe 1890- maybe 1920 something like that better than averige
