This Jugendstil teapot (I wouldn't dare to call it a samovar even if there's a heater on the stand) in copper was produced around 1900 by the Württembergische Metalwarenfabriek (WMF).

It's marked to the bottom with WMF's ostrich trademark, plus the number 50.

Sadly, it's difficut to know who made it. WMF was founded in 1880 in Germany and by 1900 was the world's largest producer and exporter of household metalware, mostly in the Jugendstil style. The designs used in its metalworks were created in its own studio, directed from 1894 by sculptor and designer Albert Mayer, so it could have been Mayer who designed it or one of the many designers working for the metalworks.

Googling for Adler i found this lamp... the shape reminds a lot of that of the teapot stand... only they don't know who designeed it... Adler? Behrens? Well, in any case Behrens worked mostly for AEG

Thanks for looking and loving CZECHMAN, RACER, VIOLET, CINDYJUNE and VET!!!

Carlos got a little angry at me because I should have cleaned the teapot before taking the photos... with a little cleaning t iwould have looked perfect, with a uniform, clean, shiny copper surface. In any case, I love when things look their age. For instance, I almost prefer silver when it's all dark instead of shiny and polished.
