PhilDavidAlexanderMorris is spot on in regards to the general date of this clock's manufacture. Ansonia made at least three mantel clocks which featured this statuette. They were the "Troubadour"

and your clock the "Bard". Here's another example of your clock:

Of the three, the Bard has the most elaborate Clock "Tower". As you would expect, it was the most expensive of the three retailing for around $50-$55 (depending upon the metal finish) in circa 1894. Adjusted for inflation $55 in 1894 would be the equivalent of $1,492.45 in 2014. In 2011 the example I provided a link to above sold at auction for $1,980 (Buyer's Premium included) so as you can see, depending upon their condition, your clock model has appreciated in value. A very nice heirloom (or investment) you have there. Take good care of it and thanks for sharing.
