    (199 items)

Gift from an old friend. Sure took imagination to come up with from basically junk. Not quite the Royal Enfield I'm eying right now but I like it fine. Good gas mileage & doesn't take up much space.
4th anniversary of "the night of the living dead" today. Well, they told me to walk a lot & drink lots of fluids, so 1 1/2 days out of IC, I caught the bus into Fort de France, walked a lot & had some brews. Life is great! Especially when compared to death.

A wonderful gift from a friend I cannot think of anything better. Sorry you are so sick but you seem to be in good spirits. Keep trying for your friends & loved ones when times are hard.
    2. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Zowie, that was 4 yrs ago. I feel great & still have the one who put me in the cardiac unit! LOL!
    3. Zowie Zowie, 10 years ago
I've only just come across the post I'm glad all is going well I love to start my day on a positive not hope I didn't stir old forgotten memories.
    4. Manikin Manikin, 10 years ago
Blunder did they really send you home with ekg patches on ? Never heard of it . But so glad your back from the walking dead :-) My husband had open heart surgery in 2009 and feels great ! Love the bike and also your I wanna live attitude :-)
      Happy Anniversary buddy !
    5. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Zowie, those are memories that will never be forgotten! LOL! Mani, I guess I kind of escaped (I'm good at that) and figured they put a bus stop near the front door for that purpose. The wheels on the bike are old bearings that still turn & the steering turns too. Gift from a sort of Ex. Lots of detail.
    6. Manikin Manikin, 10 years ago
You look like you did escape and I would not doubt it geesh :-)

      Great post BB!
      Bonne Anniversaire!
    9. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Thanks Mani, Walks and Vetra. Guess they meant walking around the hospital but that didn't sound like fun & had already made friends in town while they did tests. Who wants to be around sick people? I did literally escape when they couldn't confirm my Fr. social coverage & one of my planes was leaving for home. I escaped from a Jamaican hospital once in disguise. As staff told me once, this isn't f/b, so my email address is on my profile. It was crazy!
    10. Manikin Manikin, 10 years ago
I would escape a Jamaican hospital for sure ! My mother had a minor accident on a moped bike and scrapped her arm had road burn. They ran it under water from a old pump ..well we had to airlift her home before she died from gangrene and was in USA hospital 3 months trying to save her arm from scraps ! They first told her to wash it off in sea . Glad we got her home in time and a seriously ill lady she was by then .
    11. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Hey Brat, you just have to roll with the punches that life gives! Mani, was that in Jamaica? "Sea bath" is usually a good move. Did they save her arm? You left us dangling! I've been dead twice before & have no fear of it now. Have learned that I hate morphine! I like me too much the way I am.
    12. Manikin Manikin, 10 years ago
They did save her arm but her arm was left terribly scared . The Drs here said that while Jamaicans are used to certain bacteria we are not so after a near death from a scrapped arm it was saved .My Mom has since passed away but spent much time in Jamaica and went back many many more times . So much so that she left in her will money to a family she took care of . My sister is there a lot now .
I had morphine one time and had anaphylactic shock and was good I was in ICU so they could treat it quick . Very Allergic to it .
    13. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Glad to hear the end of the story wasn't a full tragedy! Don't know why those Fr. luv that morphine so much? After, I think, about 1 1/2 days, I asked them to turn off the pump. They came every few minutes asking if I needed it turned back on? The physical pain wasn't worth having to be on that crap! Again, this is not f/b & my email address is on my profile. Luv rapping with you, but that's for another site. Great story! LUV

Interesting work of art (the bike) Nice detail!
    21. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Pops, it's nice to have a comment on the bike! I'm impressed. Had a couple that came down when I lived on the Fr. side, & both of them loved to pick up bits & pieces on the beach & make things with them & give them away. They gave me several but sadly got lost between moving & hurricanes. It was their hobby & they were good at it. I luv to meet nice people like that. Always brings a smile to your face.
    22. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
I would like to thank everybody who responded, even if it wasn't about the bike. Everybody loves to know there are friends out there who care. Luv you all, except I'm not real sure about Roy. LOL! Hard to believe I've been with CW for 4 yrs without being banned. Thanks to you, staff. I could promise to behave myself in the future, but you would know I am lying.
    23. Manikin Manikin, 10 years ago
That is what we love about you lol your honesty :-)

    29. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Yeah Roy, depends on how well people know me as to whether they see Steve McQueen or Donald Duck. That's my big 180 cc that will be a Harley when it grows up.

just keep watering it lucas ...smiling
    32. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Roy, I repeat, you're my favourite antagonist! Actually, I have decided I don't want a "Hardly". I can zip past them in traffic much better & get 65-75 mpg. Can buy 10 of these for the price of one HD! I can pick it up if it falls over too. Still want that Royal Enfield 350 though because of the quality (no plastics).
    33. Roycroftbooksfromme1, 10 years ago
had a friend who had a 750 endfield I believe ...bored it out and had a hell of a time kick starting it every time ...he was a big boy too,. oh well ,..glad I
'm still a pain in the a$$..no one else wanted the job.. smiling, time to go T U later..
    34. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Sure glad nobody else wanted the job, "Pain in the a$$"!! I'll have to ck but the only ones I know of being made now are the 350 & 500.
    35. shareurpassion shareurpassion, 10 years ago
OMG Blunder! I'm glad you made it thru and I hope that the hard part is behind you! You take care of yourself, you hear?!

P.S. I've done the same thing in my windows a long time ago & love the bike too :) Behave now!
    36. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Share, I broke that pig valve "in" within a few days & it seems to have adjusted well & like it. I actually thought about body building, but after stepping out of the shower & looking in the mirror, I decided I needed to find a better construction site. Luv & thanks. I consider myself to have controlled emotions, but the responses, I have to admit, have brought tears to my eyes a number of nites.
    37. AmberRose AmberRose, 10 years ago
Blunder, cheers! I toast to your rock n roll lifestyle dude!
    38. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Amber, I'm beginning to have some trouble with the "rock" but I do have a roll. I burn incense to the Cialis Gods! "Better living through chemistry". LMAO!!!
    39. AmberRose AmberRose, 10 years ago
Dude! Never too old to rock! Fat glass of wine in my hand currently
    40. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Amber, please let up! I'm still laughing so hard with tears that I can't see what I'm typing! Staff! We have another run-away poste!! This is just too good! LMAO!!
    41. toracat toracat, 10 years ago
Nice bike!! You look healthy in photo!! Remember Samson was strong until the woman cut his hair!! haha! You are much healthier than Dick Cheney! (If you know who he is!) Take care my good friend!

Lucas.... I have some things similar to this : But were made by inmates in the custody of the state. Have and had friends incarcerated for being social misfits and they have made a couple things like this and gave to me.....I'll dig a couple out and show you some of the recreational pieces they've produced. Thanks for sharing this fantastic piece and Happy Good Heath day :-)

hm mmmmmmmmmmm should read..... take ittttttttttttttt out for a putt ..been a long day ...lol
    46. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
I don't remember seeing anybody making things like this kerry. LOL Gas welding by inmates that would require gas bottles etc. sounds a bit iffy to me. I need to stop where she works next week & see if she knows where they are made. I was an outside contractor for the place until the Marshalls (owners & operators of the store) of Marshalls Dept. store chain (now sold out) ripped me off for around $4K. Seemed like nice people at the time but I was shown 1st hand how they got their $millions!
    47. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Thanks Roy. Not often I find myself thanking YOU for anything. LOL You're going to push me until I buy that 350, aren't you? At my age, I have to keep what I can in the banque & the price is $4,8K. Lot of work now & if it isn't sold in the next month, I'll get it. We are in the off season so doubt it will sell soon & I want the season to start so I don't sell my "Indian" cheap. We play the season market here.
    48. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Well everybody, I think I'm going to drop out of CW for awhile. It's looking too much like the last day of a yard sale. Golf balls & urinals!! I only work when needed, but can't waste hrs everyday gleening thru 95% trash to see 5% treasure. It's just not what it used to be. I'll follow for a few days for comments. I know staff can't control it but it's lost direction. Disgusting is the word I'm looking for. Think you have been putting up with me for about 4 yrs., but enough is enough!

      I'll miss my friends here.
    49. kerry10456 kerry10456, 10 years ago
Lucas, will miss your comments and chuckles, I know exactly what your talking about......I'll go to cabin and retive those "Jailhouse" art motorcycles in the next couple days and hope you get to see them in your bouncing in
    50. toracat toracat, 10 years ago
Stay for sure for a few more days so I can write you a clear message! You are one of my best friends on CW! I understand! I have too much stuff. I love CW, but need to focus on reality more. Work on health and my bucket list! If you leave CW, I will send you Simon to keep you company if you want! Really! For sure! Don
    51. walksoftly walksoftly, 10 years ago
      Was it something I said!
Just because the neighbourhood is going to hell doesn't mean you should leave your friends behind.
You will be missed my friend.
    52. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Kerry, I'll touch base every once in awhile, but promise nothing. It's turned into uncontrolled crap now! 4 yrs ago, we were a happy family. Now the A.H's have found us! I'll miss a lot of the treasure, but the "trailer-trash" have moved in like the poor relatives. I've been saying I was going to drop out for close to a year & now I'm doing it.
My email address is on my profile if anybody wants to get in touch or wants a free place to stay in SXM but I will ck their profile on CW before agreeing. If you see anything that you think I would really want to see, please let me know. Will miss the good friends I've met here & Kerry, flip a "bird to the rest". Best part of my day was when Jacky said she wasn't talking to me. The worst part was she wouldn't shut-up afterwards! LOL. If mama ever told you that life was going to be easy, I'm sorry to tell you that she lied to you!
    53. kerry10456 kerry10456, 10 years ago
Lucas....I know what you're saying...lots of good people have left, and others hang in the background, I'll miss you but will keep in touch....on the email side of things... Good luck my friend and may health, wealth and happiness fill your day

Happy Anniversary BB2 :) Rock it!!!!!!!!
    55. pops52 pops52, 10 years ago
Before you leave, can I have this bike?
    56. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Tora, if I promise to stay on 3 days, will you promise not to send Simon?

Of course it was something you said Walks! LOL No end to fun with friends, but no time for strangers of a 3rd kind!
Kerry, you're a "sudener" & you should know when "enough is enough"! There are a lot of people that I've "made friends with" on CW that I would luv to meet, but the price has just gotten too high. Sorry. A bientot.
    57. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Thanks Sean & appreciated. If I could just quit having dreams in French, I would consider myself healed! Until then, I worry. LOL
    58. Zowie Zowie, 10 years ago
Well got everyone talking & glad all worked out well but I'm sorry to see you go as you have been helpful & you will be missed take care.
    59. toracat toracat, 10 years ago
Simon Sez! blunder might hurt me! He is a Macho Man! I am too! But he is bigger than me! I not want to go!! I stay here! The wise Simon Oz has spoken!!
    60. Manikin Manikin, 10 years ago
Blunder I hope you stay :-( I do understand how we WERE like a family and CW was so Fun along with sharing our collections and it has changed :-( . But we need you here and lets try and bypass all the rest of stuff going on . You have been a delight and one of a kind and I have grown quite fond of you xoxo Stay in touch ok . Hoping you will stay however .
    61. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Appreciate your words Mani. I've tried to follow CW everyday but it has just gotten to take up too much time. My "retirement" work load has increased to where I don't want to spend hrs. every nite weeding thru "drive-by" posts & trash. Just a matter of managing my time & being practical. I know I will miss a lot of good things but just can't keep up with the volume & decided not to try. We have a good group of friends & people who have dropped in with interesting things, but the Meaning of the word "Collectors" seems to have fallen to the wayside. We throw in junk like this poste of mine, but we have always had fun with it. The atmosphere has changed by the volume. I'm still here once in awhile, but just don't have the time or inclination to follow as closely. I'm not the 1st to go to the wayside with the changes. I'll throw in something every once in a while just to remind everybody that I am here & humour is not dead, but will probably only reply to comments on those posts. Well, I just ck'd my passport & it's not French, so another good day! LUV!

    64. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Passing note. Friend who just bought a new Royal Enfield showed me where the frame was obviously welded without a jig & now a big problem. Back to looking.
    65. Roycroftbooksfromme1, 10 years ago
you must have a welding shop there on that island ...lol...then again ... send off for some prints on the frame and make ya own jigggggggggggg or tear it down and send it off to ozzzzzzzzzzon on the main land ........
    66. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Lets see if I understand you right Roy? My friend has to take down a brand new (often referred to here as "new brand") bike, correct a major frame F-up and reassemble. All at his expense? I can see it in the Indian factory now: "can you hold this piece about here while I tac-weld it? Thanks." . My bubble has burst & my dream machine a bad memory.
    67. fhrjr2 fhrjr2, 10 years ago
Glad you are up and running. Also glad to hear it was your heart that was a problem. I have often been told I don't have a heart so I should be okay. Brain isn't a problem here either....so I have been told. Smoking and lungs do present an issue. Keep being feisty and try to keep up with me at being cantankerous.
    68. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Roy, I can't imagine anybody accusing you of being cantankerous! Bet you had to look up the spelling on that one, as that was considered antiquated by the time I was 20! That's a long time ago! LOL. Luv it when you spar with me! You should know better by now. Give up that smoking! That's bad shit! I gave it up after 47 yrs of heavy use (3-4 packs per day) & feel so much better being able to breath well & not coughing at nite. Women don't like sleeping with men who cough all nite in their sleep. The "agony plan" is BS but my address is on my profile & I can tell you the way I did it without any agony or struggle. Please contact me. I have a weakness for helping the weak.
    69. Roycroftbooksfromme1, 10 years ago
Gggggggggg thought you were going away ...lol smoking is bad ...SH$T not for me as much as I would love a camel ...o blunder you are to full of your self...smiling...didn't see the brand new part about the bike..., so what's the problem... bring it back to be fixed..........or don't make the payments ... whats the big deal.... old man.....c ya
    70. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Roy, I owe nobody & pay cash, so don't need built in problems with no recourse. Really love that bike!
    71. Roycroftbooksfromme1, 10 years ago
lol that's to bad ..so you must have some recourse...like a warranty ...?
    72. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
No warranties is the "Wayward Islands" that count. You get & have to accept what you pay for but there a good points for car bombings. Oops, I probably just went on the gestapo "watch list"! By the way, I was supposed to get a piece of tail today (for painting), but it's election day & my painter in into politics so got bored. Changing of the thieves in power. You have access to my email address, & as CW staff pointed out, this is not facebook.

      I also like the bike...
    77. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
T-Mon, thanks for mentioning the bike before I got deleted again! This turned into another "out of control poste". What bike?!!
    78. Drill Drill, 10 years ago
Love the bike BB2 feel better pirate !and remember the only real mark we leave in this life is in our shorts
    79. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
have to admit Drill, I was on 3 sec. delay, but got it. lol. Momma never told me to keep my shorts on & afraid I have contributed too much to the world's gene pool. Maybe the problems we see today are my fault. Accustomed to being blamed for everything anyway.
    80. Drill Drill, 10 years ago
He! He! that gene pool has got a wonderful sense of humor.I'm sure u passed that along to many. don''t change a thing.(To leta in the game anywayThat is the secret to health in this life Good humor!
    81. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Jacky keeps insisting on contributing to the gene pool but I don't think the world is ready for that combo! I've told her many times that I've been "snipped" but she doesn't even wake up when I whisper it. Proof that there is a place in life for slow learners. Practice makes perfect!

    84. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Oh, Boots. Remember that hanging around is better than hanging!
    85. Bootson Bootson, 10 years ago
yeah just pop in once in a while, you will be able to see what your buds have been posting and maybe drop a little nugget of your wisdom on em from tim to time.

it might not be the same hour, day, or even month as the original post but they will know you are still alive.

Oh and by the way, I know you have the "sassy" part down but judging by your last picture you better have a few more beers and work on the "fat" part.

If you ever bring a blunderbuss to Minnesnowta, we'll burn some black powder and the first rounds on me.
    86. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Boots, I'm not sure "staff" really appreciates most of my "little nuggets". LOL. They still haven't offered me a bribe to unsubscribe! Would luv to scratch some flint with you in Minnesnowta with you, but even carrying 250 yr old guns internat'l today is impossible. "First rounds" means shooting or beers? Staff is probably cringing now & saying "fb". Shift to my email on my profile please. Been working on the "fat" part but not easy at my young age. I like you already!

      Very nice post blunderbuss!
About your photo number 4. LOL!!! :)
You are incredible! At your health!! :)
    88. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Virginia, we aim to please! I had to get a bus back to the hospital before dark after a few days as I noticed the local "ruffians" had spotted a wounded animal & I didn't want to hurt them. LOL

Thanks gang! I appreciate all the appreciation. Still off & on with the one who put me there. Slow learner I guess!

Glad to see you are still with us take care my friend.
    91. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Thanks Zowie. I always figured that "hanging in there" was better than hanging! Chaos is beginning to show signs of organization (At least at the airport). I credit NOOA for the lose of 5 lives & most of the destruction done here. My satellite observations showed something entirely diff. from what they were telling us.
    92. Zowie Zowie, 10 years ago
It's been the same through out history we only get told what they wont us to believe they don't think we have eyes & ears for ourselves. Have a great day.
    93. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Zowie, an excellent example is that your soldiers are fighting & dieing for "Your country". Think about it.
