Does anyone have any information on this doll? I bought her at an estate sale from a family who purchased her in Poland in the 1950's or 60's and Her clothes are linen and cotton, they are beautiful- She has a cardboard panel under her skirt. She is made out of thin plastic. I would love to know if anyone has any information on her! Thanks!
She is USA made doll and is 36 inches tall and can wear a real child size clothes around a size 4 . So someone got her and dressed her in their child's clothes . Several companies made this size with similar face . I suspect if you look at back of her neck it might say EG for Eegee doll company or another name . These were modeled to be Patty play pal look a like dolls . Made in early 1960s. The clothes are not original to doll she was redressed by someone and they have been known to use these size dolls in windows of children's clothing stores .

Hey thank you all so much for the information! I love the hat too!
Did you look at neck for markings ? and your welcome :-)
I don't see any marks on her neck - but I haven't removed her clothes altogether because I thought I might damage the clothes.
I understand usually it is right under hairline but could be on her back . I am sure she is a Allied doll . And believe she was used in a display to show off costume . The hat and blouse are 2 different time era's so they gathered pieces to make her . I know the doll well . Someone must have taken her to Poland or she was exported but she is a USA doll . Called a Patty Play Pal look alike . Patty was a very high quality doll and these life size dolls were popular as a child had a doll same size as them . I have one posted actually . She does date early 60's . A treasure because we don't know how they used her dressed as a polish child . I do wonder about her apron as it looks like a Indian blanket made into a apron ? It is handmade .
The skirt and hat look much older than blouses . She was not wearing this when she came from factory :-)
