This is one of the iconic designs from Rosenthal, first made in 1950. It is also one of the first designs to be object of a law suit in terms of plagiarism as, becoming so popular, it didn't took long for other companies to produce simmilar designs.

It's product number in Rosenthal's catalogue is model 2052, although is better known by the name of Schwangere Luise (Pregnant Luise).

I'm not too sure in how many sizes these were made in. So far we've got three of them. As for the colours... there's the whole range of Rosenthal colours. I've seen online a specially gorgeously intense shade of blue, plus pink, light green... orange!!!. I've also seen them in the “penguin decor” (black and white with gray and golden lines), and also with different decors, such as those from Peynet.

For those who didn't noticed it, these appear on pic. 4 of my Pierre Paulin chair post

Thanks VET and JEWELS for your love!!!!

Believe or not, Kev, Carlos just made me notice this was our item No.499... I haven't got the faintest idea which item will be No.500, but I guess it should be very special :) In any case won't be able to post it until September: Prague is waiting for us :)

These are such a fabulous design.
      Prague - oooh.
Have a great time. I know you won't possibly return empty handed!

Yes Amber, but only five days, probably enough for a first visit. Accoring to what I've read about Prague and all the Art Nouveau buildings I've seen on Google Maps, we'd need at least a month!!! :) I'm only afraid there will be too many tourists.

Racer.... I guess it will be difficult, but with such a tight visits schedule it really has to be a lucky strike for us to find some affordable glass. We haven't planned to buy anything but soething will come out, I'm sure it will! But my guess is that we'll get mostly books.

Thansk RACER, AMBER, PHIL and VIOLET for your loves and comments!!!!
