Some shutters were practically works of art and this Weller Wing is a beautiful example of an unusually shaped wooden shutter. It mounts to the front of a lens which means it can be used on a variety of cameras.
Unlike the brass shutters I’ve posted, the Weller Wing’s shutter speed depends on how quickly photographer squeezes a pneumatic bulb. Although it is advertised for amateurs and professionals, I do not believe this would be good for a pro. Its 1896 price of $3.50 is about $96.50 adjusted for 2013.
