    Picked this up some time ago, never saw a cabbage or kraut cutter like this one you open the spring loaded door put the cabbage in, then just swing the curved wood on the rear back and forward and the pressure of the spring loaded door feeds the cabbage into the cutter.

      I agree it's cool but in reality much safer than the old board type cutters because your fingers never get near the cutting blade. Thanks.
