    I haven't been able to find much information on this, just people people taking a guess like me. Anyway somewhere from the 30s to the 50s.
    The main feature of this scale is the bubble magnifying glass to make it easier to see the scale numbers. Seems to work correctly.
    Carson the cat weighs 18 pounds. He is in charge of security when I am not home.

      Hi apache! I actually had one of these, sorry to disappoint you but I can't remember exact details, but you're very close. What I did with mine was clean it up, paint it red and put black leather-like tack on it...it came out so very good, even if I do say so myself...

      Sold it for a grip too and when I find another, I'll keeep it.

      I just found plenty of them, they say 1950's but I personally think it's much older! Sorry I can't copy the link. Type in Antique detecto scale then look at "images".

      Thank you very much shareurpassion. Hopefully I can find an exact match from someone who knows for certain. I think it is late 30s myself, perhaps I'll say 1935-1950.
