My husband came across this refrigerator on one of his jobs (refrigerator repair), and brought it home. It sat behind our bar for years. Quite the conversation piece. Unfortunately he passed away and I moved to another home, with no bar. But I've kept it now, for 13 years thinking someday I might use it again. It runs great and I even have the owners manual and defrost glass tray. Someday, someday......maybe I'll blow the dust off of it and get to use it again. If not, well then my kids will have to find a place for it, and hopefully, not sell it.

I tried to sell it once and my oldest daughter had a fit. So there may be hope!

Very nice, I have this same model (1937) this is a one year only model as the 1938 model had the condenser moved into the lower storage area and so began the era of inefficient refrigerators. As I recall it's the model CK 26-A16 and had the best refrigeration unit of all monitor tops. I love embossed profile down the front, reminds me of Pontiac cars of the era. The fluted chrome handle and hinges are a nice touch too!
      regards
      George
