These six vases are some of my favourites amongst Nanny Still's production. They hold design numbers 1441 (red and blue), 1442 (green and petroleum blue), 1443 (clear) and 1444 (olive green) and all of them were into production between 1971 and 1974, except for design 1442, that was produced until Riihimäki stopped mouth-blown production in 1976. By the way, TIIMALASI is Finnish for "Hourglass".
At the product file in the ILMATAR book, these vases appear as being made in "olive green, rubin red and bluish green". They say nothing about the petroleum blue, light blue and clear glass vases. When I started getting them I wanted to have the four different shapes and when I found out they came in six different colours I decided I wouldn't mind to have some shapes repeated as much as I could have the six colours...

@Valentino. Yes, I forgot: they stand 18 cm. tall. not too big but they look pretty bold, especially models 1441 and 1442. Sorry, no chance to display flowers on them so far: they've been kept in boxes for three or four months now. i hope by november I'll be able to display them again at the nex studio. So far I've got a huge collection of cardboard boxes :)
