An antique Asian jar, vase or urn with fluted sides. About 10" tall, it appears to be hand painted with 2 cranes, a bluebird and a sparrow. It is adorned with gold accents and gold trim around the top of the jar and around the inner lid and painted lid. There is a hand painted marking on the bottom of the jar. It was handed down from my great grandmother in Germany. She had received the vase as a gift from a close friend and we have no idea how old it is and it's origin. I would appreciate any help in finding out. Thank you.

Turn the mark photo ninety degrees to the right if you can. I'd say Japanese.
