This pretty little 9" shell form dish came from Salvation Army. It's a beautiful subtle pink color which fades to a pearl white around the scalloped edges. There are no marks on it but I'm thinking 40's or 50's. There is a slight chance it could be older but I'm not sure. It's supported by four small shell feet on the bottom. Great to finally find a nice piece of glass.

'Crown Tuscan' was the Cambridge Glass name for their opaque pink glass and was made between 1932 and 1954. Other makes have also adopted the name and use it for their opaque pink glass. When the Sea Shell line was introduced in 1935 the opaque pink was called 'Coral' for that line, but this was the same as 'Crown Tuscan'. Seems the color name 'Coral' was an appropriate marketing strategy for the Sea Shell line of goods.
