I don't know what to make of this pin. It could be silver; it cleaned up as if it was. It appears to be handmade and it reminds me of some Mexican earrings I have. The pin is unmarked so I will post it as costume jewelry.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I am inclined to say so too. But I am not sure and I have not tested it.
Just wondering ?? Is it a cluster of Grapes, or just a flower and leaves? Reason why I am asking as the cluster is not really grape shaped IMHO as grapes would be.
So just throwing it out there....as not sure
Antiquerose, I think you might be correct - it could be a flower; although a strange one. Maybe I just associated the image with grapes because of the Mexican earrings I have. I will have a good second look at the pin. You know, sometimes one sees what one wants to see.

Thank you, Jewels. I thought of Mexican too, however, the Mexican brooches I have seen had a flat back; this one doesn't have it.
Also, antiquerose, I had a second look at the pin and realized that the photo was a really bad one. When you look at the pin from a different angle, you see what appears to be a vine and the round parts make triangular shape. So, after all, I think it is supposed to be grapes:)
