This brooch is unmarked - or at least I cannot find a mark on it. The craftsman ship is really good but at some point in its life someone put a new pin on the back and possibly put it where there could have been a mark.
I think it could be Mexican and made of alpaca. I tested it with a magnet: The brooch itself is not magnetic but the new addition of the needle is.
