Ladder Back Chair

This ladderback chair has a sticker on the bottom that says: Michigan Chair Co, Grand Rapids, MI. #D6384, 1416 or 1466, Verona which is written in pen. It was my grandmother's chair and she lived near Boston. I'd like to find out how old it is. I got it in 1971 from her attic.
It appears to be mahogany. The cane seat is in good shape.
The ladder back is 31 inches tall from the seat which is 23 inches across and front and tapers to 18 inches across the back. It is 18 inches deep.
