This was my first ever piece of green tango glass. It's my favourite type of tango too......applied glass trim. I love it's simple lines and restrained trim. The diameter of the black thread is regular and has been applied to perfection. The rim circumference is 38 inches, so no mean feat! The glass itself is translucent and I think of only one layer.
You can see the ground pontil and there is much wear on the base rim. There is no damage but a fair amount of rub wear to the interior. However I can live with that!
If anyone recognises the colour/shape and could suggest a maker I'd love to hear from you. I'd say it's of a better quality than some Tango I have and very big!
Diameter 12.5 inches
Height 2.5 1nches

I'd have to agree with that SEAN. Thanks
Your very welcome sklo!! :)
I'd have to agree with you too, inky, particularly on the colour. This was one of those times when I just got lucky. Thanks....:-)

nice one! look at mine http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/63618-tango-fruit-bowl I think they might be related...
Thanks Macart, I'd never seen yours because my searches always started tango glass whatever and you titled yours tango fruit bowl. But now I have seen it I agree, there are similarities. The translucence, the proportions and the well executed application of the black rim. I notice Jericho suggested Kralik for yours.....interesting.
Thanks, AnneLanders for the love
