This is my first Loetz Phaenomen vase. It's in the PG 7767 décor, but I'm not sure if this is considered the bronze or crete ground. It measures 5" h x 6" w. I was able to get it for a great price due to some scratches to the bottom. Any information would be appreciated.
Nice example....the same one is on Loetz.com.
Thank you LoetzBuddies and Moonstonelover21.
Congratulations on a great piece of Loetz. Based on the color of the glass shown in the photo of the pontil, I would say "bronze". This decor is on my "gotta have" list! :)
Thank you LoetzDance and thanks for the loves austrohungaro, inkyinky, SEAN68, famatta12, cogitocogito, czechmanczechman, ozmartyozmarty, dlfd911 and vetraio50.
Dear Rick,
what a stunning piece of Loetz glass and a wonderfull decoration. I would really wish to add one of these to my collection one day. To shed some light on your vase:
This vase, in a silver mounting by Rozet & Fischmeister, a very important Silversmith, was presented on the winter exhibition of the ÖMKI from 1899/1900. It is definately "bronze". I also found the blueprint it is in the Loetz Böhmisches Glas 1880-1940 volume 2, Musterschnitte, Prod. Nr. 513. It can also be found in the volume 1 on page 90.
I hope that helps ;)
Oh wow! Thanks for the information kunsthammer! It adds so much more to the enjoyment of collecting when you find information like this. Much appreciated.

Love the rim.
Thanks Bill... I agree. I think those two dips on the rim add so much interest!
