    We do not know much about it. Wondering what it is worth and era. Craved wood seat. Been in the family for years, early 1900's is our guess.

      That is easy Scott. Everyone needs a place to sit. The seat isn't carved. Actually it was pressed. I refer to picture two only, I refuse to address ignorant people posting side way pictures.

      My opinion only. The front end of the skids have been cut off, seat replaced and the entire chair refit and re-guled with not so attractive glue. If you look at or photograph and post the under side I think you will find why I say this.

      I agree fhr. I just skip over gravity defying pieces. If they aren't serious enough to poste pics correctly, I skim over. Glad to hear I'm not the only purist.
