Oswald made several different dogs and other animals in the 1930's. The eyeballs rotate to tell the time. The left eye shows the hours, and the right eye the minutes.

Did they happen to make any in the shape of a cat?

Yes, I have a rotating eyes cat clock by J.Oswald.
I have a dog clock with rotating eyes that is very similar to the one above. Mine looks more like a Scotty. All I know is that it was picked up in Germany in the 1950's. Same maker. Any idea on the value?
Its sooooo cute!
Hi - have a dog clock with rotating eyes. It was brought home by my grandfather from Germany. It has the same marking on the bottom as the one above. Can anyone tell me how to determine the value of this item? Thank you
yes they made a cat and many more animals .. these clocks are quite rare and humorous .. early ones were carved out of wood ..
