    Love this earthenware vase but would like to know more about it. The paint on it is not flat, so you can feel the different mosaic on it. Where is it from?

      Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Unfortunately, there is no marking at all on this vase.

      I have one very much like this. Mine has a ruffled split top, all hand painted. Asian abstract, with flowers.
      Very rare Ginger jar/vase

      you don,t need marking probably because this is kyoto porcelain, only late kyoto porcelain not meijji , they probably call it a collar vase, see Johan van Oldenbarnevelt
