Does any collector know who made this fine lamp? There are no marks but is is old.
    Van De Velde?
    Austrian?
    German?

Wonderful, Fledermaus! I think the shade may be Pallme-König production (Glasfabrik Elizabeth). Not certain about the base, but certainly German/Bohemian in origin. What was the wiring like when bought it? Original wiring? Sometimes that or the socket can provide valuable clues.

The wiring is original and old up inside the lamp, there is a new cord and the fixture is old as well. I purchased some old style bulbs from a company in England which illuminates a beautiful warm glow.

Any markings on the fixture? Sometimes there will be something at the bottom or outside the ceramic socket.
