I have had this doll for a few months now. I thought she was adorable, but I haven't been able to find out much about her. I was wondering if anyone here knew about dolls and would be able to give me a little info?
She is made out of stocking, is black, has yarn for hair and facial features, is wearing a yellow bonnet and dress with white apron type dress over. The thing I thought was odd was that she is wearing a silky type dress underneath with lace hemmed shorts. She came to me with only one shoe and a few pulls in her face.

Hi she is homemade doll and her face is made using old woman's nylon's , her body appears to be made of another fabric . So since her face was hand embroidered she has no exact twin . The outer clothes are newer than doll appears so maybe was redressed and yellow dress was her original one . Nice piece of Folk art doll .
