    Hi collectors,
    Today I have a Seth Thomas clock that I found a at local swap meet. I love the design of the clock but I dont know anything about it.

      Hi, This is a more contemporary example of a Seth Thomas Westminster Chiming "Tambor" Mantel Clock. I believe the stamp indicates that it was manufactured in October of 1966 (6610) but I might be wrong. After WWII Seth Thomas was acquired by the General Time Corporation and they started importing German Movements to case and brand as "Seth Thomas". Nice clock. Hope that helps solve your mystery.       Yes, it still works. Needs a little bit of work done though. It tends to stop during the day but its been able to last a little longer after each wind. Thank you for the information helps a lot.

      He demonstrates on a Tall Case (Grandfather) Clock but the principles are the same for any pendulum clock.
