Found this old suitcase in an Anglican Rectory. Anyone knows how old it can be? Fortunately, the key was still on it and I could open it.
To see what I found inside, go to my other Show and tell post (#137837).

Lovely civil war era Jenny Lynd style suitcase canvas covered with big brass rivets -- the kind that collectors like me LOVE!!!!. Mid to later 1860's is my guess as to age.

Thanks a lot trunkman, I didn't know about Jenny Lind style suitcases. It does look like one. It's interesting to find out this suitcase is so old, it's actually older than the house I found it in, which was built in 1871. Probably the oldest object I found so far, among many.
