May not even be oriental !! Poss middle eastern or turkish,
just my opinion... especially if a water container !!

Its a great looking vessel !! Almost too good to be throwing from a bridge for water .. normally theyre plain whereas yours has had some work put into it !! Im wondering if it wasnt used as a water container in a restaurant in the 20c
or a posh home of someone ;-)

      i keep thinking
it is ober 18 inches tall and heavy
how on earth is a litle string holding this with if full of water
the openings are not very big so if string went thrue that it was a smal string.
from the ruffness and disscouleration i could verry well belive that it was exposed to the elements,
its is not evenly shaped and some parts are verry ruff and worn.
