These are much prettier in real life. They are hand painted as there are minor differences between the two interpretations of the design. The petals have relief.....the depiction of the centres of the roses is fine, delicate and the rim and foot are painted in the same colour as used to outline the leaves. Close up the stems and thorns are pink! Also the enamelling is glossy, a nice contrast with the matt surface of the glass itself.
I bought these because I simply couldn't resist them!
They are tiny at 12 cm./4.75 inches.

Hi, sklo42, 9 years later...
I love these vases, they are so beautiful and soo charming!
And they also gets my attention because you write they are by Goldberg!
Please, do you have any kind of info if they worked together with Beyermann&Company, Haida (1865-1928) in some way? / Marie
Hi Marie, I am purely a collector, never doing research of any sort,. These were my first two Goldbergs and today I bought my thirteenth. All are from this style of decoration apart from one with 'silver' acorns and oak leaves.
I am sorry to be unable to help you, regards, Peggy
