old slow sign saved from being used as a fire pit lid

i was doing a scrap job and the guy at the house was using this sign to put on top of there fire pit, i think i saved it. theres not much damage done from the fire . im not sure much about it exept that i seen one on the show but was a stop sign . any info i could get on it i would appreciate . thanks adam
