It was grouped with a pile of other stuff, might have been about $25 for all of it.
mustang - Gotta do your homework when restoring something. The other thing different about this sign - the word "Through" is spelled out, not shortened to "Thru".

Yeah, this is a 24" sign. It has the holes on top and bottom for mounting to a post. This is one of the heavier signs I've got.
Yes to both questions. I believe you could call this the predecessor to UPS. Back in the day, you'd send you're package thru REA via the train and then once it reached the nearest station to it's dest...
