Strip Signs are cool!

This very nice strip sign came off of the top of an old Sinclair Bulk Plant a couple of decades ago and has sat in a friends garage ever since. It actually has a strip sign on each side of it so that it can be seen from both directions if properly mounted. Our plan is to put it up on top of our Sinclair gas station when we get a minute, but we have been buying signs and planes at a faster rate than we can get them properly displayed. The fun is in the hunt! After that it is all work, but a heck of a thrill when it goes up in the air and we can see it displayed properly. The big coke button on the top is one we got from a collector who had never displayed it either and finally sold it to us so we could show it off. It is a bit rough as it, like many others, was found to be a great sled in the winter time and shows lots of use with all the scratches in the porcelain. Those were fun miles!
