I'd love to know any more information (if it exists) about this belt buckle. I inherited it from my grandfather who passed away recently. He was born in 1934, but I assume he used this buckle much later in his life. And it appears to have got plenty of use.
The buckle is a silver color with a slot for a coin. Engraved upon it is an ornate pattern including some flowers. On the back of the buckle, near the top it says "STA-FLAT" (with what appears to be a pattern of 6 dots/stars in a circle next to it). Also on the back, near the bottom it says...
ROCKMOUNT
DENVER,COLO
NICKEL SILVER
In the coin slot is a 1921 Morgan silver dollar, in pretty rough shape. Again, I assume the buckle is much, much newer than the coin.
