Drill
(64 items)
Finally finished the interior tray compartment for the G.S. Railroad Tribute trunk that I posted four months ago. More burnings into the wood refinished the interior lid as well as stripping and staining, clear coating in varnish etc. Added six pages of original 1871 thru 1891 Railroad advertising from a couple of Scribner's magazines that I have (yes! the edges were burned by me, thats how I roll) There are rare images of Union Pacific, And Rock Island Railroad that I have not found anywhere. This trunk named the "Buffalo Slaughter trunk" has found it's rightful place next to it's brother trunk "The Four Chiefs". Both trunks now reside with one of my favorite humans on the planet,(Thunder/Elise), a fellow trunker that I admire and respect.Incidentally I did this trunk on a trade, She gave me six wonderful trunks for 4 1/2 months of on and off labor/love.Her collection is large and Show Quality. My hope is that she would post a few as they are all unique/rare.I will post other pics of Railroad advertising.
Incredible work Drill!! Just amazing!!
Thanks pal, Hope you got to see both trunks.
