Bent Wood-Braced Suitcase

Purchased this suitcase for $5 along with several others from the same person - you can see the them in my other postings. These were still being used to store stuff like old letters and linens in, but were out in the cold and humid garage so they smell very funky. That's "funky" not in a good way!

I was thinking I'd try my hand at restoring some of these suitcases/trunks, or at least cleaning them up and repainting the canvas and refinishing the wood. But the scars of their age is kinda nice as well so I'm a bit torn.
