Here is a beautiful controlled bubble, Belfor crystal bud vase that I owned for a few days. I acquired this in exchange for helping an elderly neighbor pack up her belongings.
I had placed it on the windowsill to admire the sun shining through it & it got knocked off & fell to the floor.

Yes the picture helps, it may one day enable me to find another one to replace it.
All that work & I ended up with shards of glass & the satisfaction of helping out an old neighbor. :(

I think that if you collect glass that at some point you will end up in this state.
My wife found me a poor quality replacement & I promptly put it safely in the china cabinet, go figure!!

The controlled bubbles in this piece were amazing, there are many similar ones out there but not of this quality!

Oh no Bro :-( I agree I don't keep glassware because I would do same thing . I did drop one of my fragile dolls heads the other day and was sure it broke when it hit floor but by some lucky miracle no damage . I have a slag glass lamp of my grandmothers and I hate to clean it because always sure I will drop shade so I just leave my hands off it . I will sure watch for a like vase for you ! Love this! Yes, I had some of these over the years - but now right now. See your vase had the same label as my little glass Bears do. Do not know how I missed this. I will let you know if I find one for you - My promise!

@WALK -- umm, looking around the Net -- I found one Just like yours in Canada ( Ontario ) and with the label. It would be an ideal replacement but a bit pricey. Do you do Ebay at all? If so, tell your story and make an offer. Would not hurt. It *would* be the perfect replacement!! See it here:

Hi Rose I just saw that a few minutes ago, it made me sick to think how much the piece that I broke was worth (or what someone thinks it's worth).
LOL......probably cuz of the label. I will keep my eyes open here for you in case I stumble upon one (at more of a discount) -- LOL.

I've been thinking about a little competition for a while and I think in light of all that's been going on this would be a good time. I don't want to give any details yet to keep it fair . I love the controlled bubble ones, the ones by pairpoint are good too. There are too many on ebay with just the bubbles not controlled but yet most people would not know a real controlled bubble paperweight or vase for that matter. Yours is a beautiful example. I find some of them hard to photograph also but yours look quite controlled in the photos.
