I found this little gem at a local thrift store for $2. It appears to be in very good condition physically but I don't know how well it works with regards to accurate shutter speeds, lens functions, and film loading.

I don't know much about these old cameras (I started photography in the late 1970s with a Canon AE-1) but it looked well cared for and so I thought I'd give it a new home! It seems to me that it would have been a very popular and relatively affordable camera in its heyday.

This camera is called "Kodak 35" and offered from 1938 to 1948. Diomatic refers to the name of the shutter. While noteworthy as the first 35mm Kodak made in the U.S., it is very common. Your particular model with the f/4.5 Anastigmat lens was sold 1946 - 47.

Thanks for the info. I've added it to my offline collection database!
