This is one of two hand bells I've purchased at thrift stores. This one is quite heavy (made of cast brass?), has what looks to be the original ringer (most seem to be missing), and is LOUD!
As per usual there's no maker's marks and I'm left wondering what I've paid $20 for: some modern reproduction or an authentic antique?
The bell measures 5" in diameter and 9.5" tall.
