I think it's from the 1980's with Comanche Pottery signed on the inside. It measures 8" x 4 1/2" tall and I got this with the plaster Indian women. The bowl is rough and textured and the lid is smooth with a glazed finish.
UGH! You were right that it's hard to see...even harder from here. It's true to put a piece of paper over it and go over that with a pencil. See what you come up with then. It should be clear.
Fantastic, I love it!!
Just a bit of additional background. Comanche Pottery has no connection with the Comanche tribe. It is a pottery manufacturer/wholesale factory, located in Comanche, Texas. They manufacture art pottery, and other ceramic products. See: http://tinyurl.com/7monsxc
Comanche Indians do not have a pottery-making tradition. There are no known examples, no documented proof that they ever did make pottery, but it is often mistakenly assumed, because of the name, that there is some connection with the tribe and Comanche Pottery. There isn't.
