    Amother mask that I have. Got it from a garage sale. Is it a buddah? It just make me happy. It is kind of creepy though.

      no it, is an Otafuku Okame otafuku means i wish you an busload of luck and the turtle means i wish you an long life, but what is the difference the marks

      in noh scenes it is hard to express emotions actually you need an lifetime to understands the tiltings of the head interpretatation, it,s more formal and upperclass ( the probably shake their necklaces in stead of applaus)

      so these mask are used for the Ky?gen part most of the time its less formal( intermission entertainment sometimes) and funny an sort of And Now for Something Completely Different Monty python kind of stuff type of
