Just bought this number 8 skillet at an antique shop. It's only marked with the letter "F". Any idea who manufactured it? Looks similar to skillets 100 years old like an Erie.

I am just guessing but this might be yours.
1900-1910 "Blacklock"¹ ²
- Skillets have outside heat ring
- Raised size number on top of handle
- Raised molder's mark letter on bottom at 6 o'clock
There is a Great Page on Face Book Called Cast Iron Cooking. You can really learn a lot from all of them in that group. They are all full of info when it comes to Cast Iron. I just found my first 2 pieces at a farm auction today so have not really had a chance to really look at them and besides they really need to be cleaned bad lol. I hope this helps just a little bit
