Wow wow wow... This MAGNIFICENT hand made trunk by our resident
BB2, beautifully crafted, balanced and fitted. Trimmed with brass tacks and brass slat clamps in the style of is early predecessors -- this trunk is a true example of tomorrows heirloom. Thank you so much for this beautiful gift BB2... I love to collect beautiful pieces of craftsmanship as it is my kind of art -- and this is a masterpiece!!!
Very nice, love the grain of the wood ,BB2 , Ur a lucky guy T-man.Did BB2 send it with any of his plundered gold bullion from the islands.
stunning!!!!
Come to think of it BB2 -- where are the doubloons you promised?
Wowow! Incredible!
Patsea -- you are obviously a person of great verisimilitude, and I thank you for your discerning comment... :)
As you say tomorrow's heirloom. How clever is BB....and generous!
Thanks racer4four and eye for the great comments... and yes a monogram would go on that top center plate... not to be confused with a monorail.. as that would be to big to place there (not to mention a bit silly)... nothing monolithic either come to think of it... BB2 would fit just right....
You mean Bob didn't include the doubloons when he forwarded it!!! Well, he did mention something about having to cut back on the weight for shipping. Well, looks like he sent his junk mail instead. LOL! Going to have a talk with him!
Look close in the junk mail T-man I would have sent you the bill for shipping that sweet thing. Would have thought BB2 would have shipped it by Spanish Gallion
Trunkman, Blunderbuss2 did the most incredible job here!!! He missed no detail whatsoever! BEAUTIFUL!! Having a friend like BB2 is the real treasure! Incredible work BB2!! Thanks for sharing T-man!!
Oh, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I thought those island pirates didn't share their treasures!
You're a lucky man indeed!
Argh, we share our booty (not bootie) equally. Being a pirate is very competitive these days.
C'est un chef d'oeuvre! So nice gift from such a nice friend :-)
Congrats trunkman. Great job BB2.
Dave
Thanks Dave. Actually, I got them on sale at Kmart. LOL!!
CindB -- thanks so much -- it really is beautiful -- BB2 is a true craftsman... or "craftsperson" to be politically correct and raise his ire a bit... :)
T-Mon, you got more than double the LOVE miles than I did when I posted it! Just not fair! (pout, pout)
BB2 dude -- its all about the intricacies of visual artistic presentation combined with calibrated inter-connectionism -- that and my charming profile photo...
Wow, T-Mon! Is that another way to say you got Phil to enhance the pics? LMAO!
Its another way to tell you to "up" your profile pic -- show yourself cliff diving-- geesh -- gotta spell it out for you -- those Islanders...
T-Mon, I thought I had recorded all those old pics but couldn't find a file. Got out my "EX-FILES" book and see that there are a lot of pics from Negril, Ja that I haven't taken & logged. (Sorry Amber). The best way I've found to put them in a pc file is to take pics of pics when the light is right & it's nite here now. Only found 1 showing me jumping from the cliffs at Rick's Cafe but have others around the diving site. (Hard to take a pic while diving & in those days pic couldn't be shared like today) They don't fit in the CW format, so will send to you direct. You want "cliff", not "muff" or both? LMFAO!! I'm beginning to realize what a decadent life I've lead. When my birth certificate expires, - there will be a smile on my face!
You think eye4? I majored in psychology in university for 2 yrs. and I realized the professors & students got stranger each quarter & switched to business. Served me well in my forgotten profession! LOL!
I know I am in trouble when BB2 reaches for his "X-Files"...
I only "trade" with neuroscientists eye so you are half right... and I'm always nervous when I do...
