This old letter from the 1850's is really neat in that it has even survived this long. I purchased it at a thrift shop in a small town in Texas. It is a correspondence between a widow and perhaps her lawyer or that of her deceased husband. The paper is a single sheet...a bit larger that the legal size we use today and it is folded several times. The paper is so fragile that I have not completely unfolded it...just enough for you to get an idea of what it looks likes. When mailed it was sealed with some type of clay or wax for a seal.Enjoy!!!
