    This Hump Chest est in the 1800,s not sure if anyone knows its exact age it is so brittle the layers of what looks like a scenery crumble in your hand as I found a few 5-7 inche size layers on the inside bottom of the hump chest

    I think it is around 1840,s but not sure and does anyone know if and where a date is stamped this chest has no inserts in side

    I picked it up for my wife to gentally restore for the Den as a decor Item

    Picked it up for $50 CAD

      This trunk is more around late 1890's early 1900's. Referred to as a "Barrel Top" trunk in the early catalogues. Doubtful to find a date on it other than a patent date on the hardware. Thanks for the post!
