Hi all again and wishing everyone a safe, gregarious, and happy new year! Today's find a figgjo casserole dish, kudos to my bro! He's the one on the right in the photo the effort and time he puts in to find these little treasures inspires me! Well done mate! What a gorgeous design on the lid! We have a large dish in the Tor Viking pattern but nothing like this. Although this company is not as old as other Scandinavian companies established in the 40's they did some amazing designs and we are happy to save this from the opp/thrift shop! It is in perfect condition the stamp/ mark on the underside tells us its 1950's and it must of been cherished back then as is in a unused condition! One can only hope we look this good when 65 years old! He told me it was hiding on the back of the top shelf! A top shelf find I told him! We are amazed the pieces we find are often unscratched, I imagine they were fairly pricey in the 50's and people chose not to use them or just display them! Our family certainly never owned scandinavian pieces in the mid century, and maybe only the more wealthy in our society could afford them! Not sure, well Great find mate for $3 only! The only thing we haven't been able to find is this pattern online at all! Anyone with info on the design we would love to hear! Thanks all and cheers sorry if I ramble on, I get a bit excited when we add to the collection!

Hi, Did you ever find out the name of this pattern? I bought the same casserole today at our local markets and yours is the only one I can find on the internet!
