    The holder is stainless steel. The mark is on the front between the two shakers. I thought the mark may be from an airline as the holder for the shakers seems to be made so they can not spill or slip away.

      Your mark is AIR FRANCE company logo!
      Before cheap plastic disposable items, there were marked table accessories with your meal on board...
      (I thought Air France was a world well known company... but that was before!) ;-)

      Thank you 'kyratango'. Yes I have seen pics of the sumptuous meals served on real china plates, etc. back in the day. As compared to a bag of peanuts today, maybe. Do you know what years this logo was used?
