I'd like to know the approximate value/rarity of these photograph(s).
This photograph(s) was given to me by an old boss who lobbied for Robert Kennedy. Unfortunately he passed and I am unable to ask him any more questions about this. It was explained to me that this picture roll was taken on a private jet on his birthday. Which birthday, I do not know. If I could somehow find out that would be awesome!
It includes all the pictures in the entire roll. There is a small piece of the photograph which was torn due to sticking to glass in its original frame (top right corner) however the rest is in good condition.
There is an original stamp on the back that states "Property of John F. Kennedy"
PS. The Photograph is approximately 15x19". In addition I've looked for about a week attempting to find any of these photographs on the internet, and I have yet to find one.
stunning!!!
This appears to be an enlargement of the original contact sheet. As background, 35mm negs were usually contact printed on 8x10 inch paper. Unsure of value because this is not the original contact sheet, but the images might have some historic interest. Value could also be dependent on who the photographer was. It could have been anyone from a reporter to someone famous.
FWIW, 35mm TRI-X film had an ASA rating of 400. This sensitivity would have been perfect for shooting an interior.
Otherwise, the images are definitely interesting.
