My Kovels newsletter today informs me that two Tiffany wisteria lamps sold for over $1M each, to the same American bidder. Wisteria and stained glass are suited to each other, these lamps are incredibly gorgeous. You can view them through this link.

As to my little, well big actually, mirror, it is trimmed with a wisteria stained glass effect, a dragonfly playing among the grasses at the lower end of the glass. It sits in storage most of the time but every so often I take it out to admire it.
And today was just the right day to share the pics! Loving the lamps!
Here is the link again, to the lamps. :)

Thanks for the love, aghcollect. :)
Thank you, CindB, it is pretty, isn't it? :)
Stained glass is so appealing. Take a look at the lamps, they are stunning.
Thanks for the love, PatSea. :)
And thank you for the comment, it is a pretty mirror. :)
Incredible mirror :).... I get the same news letter Katherine. Read the Tiffany lamp story as well. Guess I'll never own one of those...lol
Yes, gorgeous, CindB. :) Mikelv85, thank you. :)
What would it be like to come across one of those lamps in a thrift shop or yard sale!
Thanks for the love, Jewels. :)
Thanks for the love, PhilDavidAlexanderMorris. :)
That's very fine work - the came is so thin! It's incredibly well made and beautiful.
I can't imagine, Cindy. Well I can imagine a little as I have had to leave things behind in two homes which I valued a great deal, and looking back now still hurts. All we can do is limp on somehow, and find more things to distract and delight us. A Tiffany lamp in a yard sale would be a delight. I wish you luck! :)
Thank you, kivatinitz, for the love. :)
Thank you, racer4four, for the love and comment. :)
I agree with you. That's why the community here is so wonderful, because all of you are collectors and appreciate treasures others consider trash or junk.
Absolutely beautiful...
Thanks for the love, Dr. Fluffy. The mirror or the lamps? :)
Thanks for the love, walksoftly. :)

Thanks for the love, SpunkysMom. :)
Very beautiful, & you never now what you'll find at a thrift shop or yard sale. After a horrible experience with Lofty Art, Tiffany's Auction is going to sell my Badri Narayan painting in September & I bought it at a thrift shop!
Ah, nice find, then! Good luck with the auction, I look forward to hearing what happens with that.
Yes, true, I found the D&E set at a yard sale. I suppose we all hope to find that spectacular collectible on our treasure hunts. The thrill of the chase. :)
That's true & I never have before. That was my first time & it took me 15 years!
