I've used this Murano Blackamoor as my profile picture since joining CW but have never posted it. This was my first Blackamoor and I've been in love with them ever since. It's a large piece standing a tad under 17" tall and in beautiful condition. I now have four with a fifth coming in a week or so. I just can't get enough of them!
Exquisite Rick and I love the contrast in colours with these blackamoor figures.
Looooooooooove it too!!! Beautiful !!
Thank you for the kind comments Race4four and Rose, and thanks for the loves Jewels, Manikin, Aghcollect, Pops52, Vetraio, Sklo, PatSea and DrFluffy.
Thanks CindB and Fixitjmc.
Awesome glass!!

Nice examples of these are quite difficult to do well.... the quality of this piece is quite exceptional I think. Bad ones are really tacky and quite easy to spot as being bad.....
Great ones are quite the work of art.... I would consider this one to be a great one...... One of the nicest ones I've seen.....
Thank you for the kind comments Scott and Welzbub. Yes Welz, it's an excellent piece, one of the best of this style I've seen IMHO. Again, thank you.
Thank you PhilDavidAlexanderMorris,CindB and fixitjmc.

I did get one yesterday - it's nearly something magic about them and they are really beautiful. Do someone know when they where made? Year?
Here are a couple of pages of other ones (and info):

Thanks for the additional link Rose. I've seen some beauties that I wish I could get my hands on, but unfortunately for me, they don't come up often. -Rick
Wow, what a fantastic piece, I love it!
