I found all of this at the bottom of a bin at my local Goodwill outlet. It was haggard to say the least, crusted in what looked like a dried mustard mess. I should have taken a before picture.... next time.
Anyway, it cleaned up really well and when I dusted off the Super Mario Kart, it worked like a charm.
I remember when I got my first one, it was the last present at xmas... hidden under the tree wrap so I thought I was done, until my mother said, "Wait a second... I see one more right here" and uncovered what would go on to drain hours from my childhood. Needless to say, my reaction was pretty close to N64 kid's.
This is going to date me but I had the same reaction to the original NES. I still have it and it still works. Think I may have to fire it up and play a little Mario3. Its not the same with the Wii. I will have to take some pics of the awesome video game stuff I have found at garage sales. POWER GLOVE you know you want one LOL! And if you already have one I will still try to one up ya, happy hunting.
I think I like the NES better than SNES, I got it a few years after it came out. Mine also still works... crazy to think they can last that long and only need a cleaning to work.
I never had the Power Glove, but I recently watched The Wizard (that one with Fred Savage) and a kid rocked Fred's little brother with the Glove haha
I'd love to see some Nintendo finds.
i remember when i got my first nintendo (Nes) i got it for christmas when they first came out. my friends and i played it until we had blisters on our thumbs...then we played it some more lol good times!
do u know how much one of these gos out for now and days....???? cause i have one as well with atleast 6 games ....
